Papworth's New Youth Centre and Community Hub

We are excited to share a new vision emerging within the Papworth Team as we continue seeking new ways to support and serve our local community.

Led by our Youth and Young Adults Minister, Albert Churchouse, plans are now developing for a purpose built Youth Centre and Community Hub, due to launch in Summer 2026.  The hope is to create a welcoming space open after school and during the holidays for young people aged 12+ (Year 7 and above), alongside a wide range of community events and activities in partnership with the church.  There is still much work to do, but we are excited about what lies ahead. Watch this space!

August Updates:

Following the new flooring , we took stock and had the place painted and a new kitchen fitted! Ready for our open day at the end of this month the team got a chance to test our the new gear and build things ready for our youth drop-ins after school! 

June Updates: 

New Flooring! What a change a New Floor makes! Installed at the start of June the new flooring marks a huge step forward and  allows us to begin the process of rebuilding the inside to fit the needs of the community! We think it looks rather smart! 

May Updates: 

New signage! we are Super excited to see the new laminates and board go up to make sure everyone can see us and know where things are happening! A fantastic step in the right direction with flooring soon to be laid down....

January Updates: 

 Soon to be removed or put elswhere there will soon be one big open space ready for the new flooring!
